Here are the date, time and location for the workshop events: QoR Watercolor and High Flow Acrylics on Non-Traditional Surfaces: Workshop Duration: 1 hour and 45 minutes Date: Sat. 11/16/2019 Begin Time: 11:00 AM End Time: 12:45 PM Location: EXPO WKS3 This workshop will give you the unique opportunity to work with QoR watercolor and Golden High Flow Acrylics to simulate watercolor and watermedia. We will be working on surfaces like plexiglass, duralar and also crackle paste. On plexiglass and duralar will work with transparency of the material and applying Pastel Ground to adhere watercolor to these surfaces. With crackle paste, it is all about the cracks. We will utilize the cracks to create a watermedia mosaic and the effect is stunning. This is a one day workshop where we will get to have a lot of fun playing and experimenting while working on unconventional surfaces. All Paints, surfaces and supplies will be provided, just bring yourself and get ready to have a fun artful day of learning some new techniques. Traditional Painting Techniques using Acrylics Workshop Duration: 1 hour and 45 minutes Date: Fri. 11/15/2019 Begin Time: 10:00 AM End Time: 11:45 AM Location: EXPO WKS3 Traditional Painting Techniques with Acrylics is a step by step class where we will be first using Fluid acrylics to get a flat base color of shapes and then we will start to build up layers and start blending with OPEN acrylics. After that we will come back and thin out some of our Fluid acrylics with glazing medium to build up transparent layers to really pull the painting together and polish it up.
